The robot controller from Commonplace Robotics offers everything you need for your robot project. The controller can be equipped with up to 6 motor modules, which covers a large part of existing robot kinematics. The built-in power electronics are designed for stepper motors up to 4.2A/24V. Furthermore, connections for motor encoder and 24V reference switches are provided.
In addition, each controller contains a DIO module with seven digital inputs and outputs each. If required, up to two further DIO modules can be integrated.
For operation with igus Low Cost Automation products you can order the control directly with the robot here: igus LCA
The control shown on this page cannot be used for igus LCA products.
A specially developed control computer “Core” is installed as the core. The Linux-based system enables communication between the robot and the programming and simulation software CPRog, which works on your Windows computer, via an Ethernet interface. The created programs are stored on the “Core” and can be called up and started there.
The control does not include safety related components.
Pictures and videos are preliminary.
